Exercise for Weight Loss: Do I have to Exercise to Lose Weight?

Good news for those of us who want to lose weight without doing exercise out the wazoo. Exercise is not as critical as diet is, when you are trying to lose weight. Many people are not able to exercise due to orthopedic issues, or maybe you are not a fan of going to the gym with all eyes staring at you.

Strapping on shoes and going out for a run appeals to some people, but not all. With the right meal plan, exercise is not as imperative in achieving regular, steady weight loss. The right timing and balance of foods will help you get the weight loss engine rolling, and for people with insulin resistance it is often better not to tax starving cells with too much exercise. 

However, there is a catch. If you want to keep weight off, and ensure that your weight loss is long term, and you have a healthy, slim version of yourself that you want to keep, then taking the time to find exercises you love, and developing a fun, energetic exercise routine is a must.
